Mr. Adamson 18 - The Mr. Adamson mobile.
Running out, Mr. Adamson notices that the sky is still purple, but it is getting darker, even though it's still only 4 o'clock. Time is fast running out.
Mr. Adamson gets back in his flash car and floors it going down the road, when he suddenly notices that there is a bit traffic jam heading towards the town.
"Arrgh! Rush hour. Typical!" Says Mr. Adamson. Just then he hits a big button. There is a large whirring noise which is caused by the suspension raising. Mr. Adamson then hits another button causing chains to be released around the wheels. Mr Adamson then pulls off the road and into the open fields. The fields are very bumpy and muddy, but with the modifications made to the car the inside is as smooth as it gets, the car maintains the same speed as on the road.
The car goes over a big jump, and the car then leaps through the air with short pieces of metal extending out of the rear wheel arches, which are then controlled by the steering wheel, to help balance the car while gliding. The car then glides over the town and onto the roof of a multi story car park. Mr. Adamson steers the car towards the exit ramp, causing the car to go down the stories with perfect handbrake turns. All of this is being done by the on-board car computer designed and programmed by the mad scientist in the basement of Richie's mansion. Who just so happens to be monitoring the cars process in his car control centre.
"Yes it still works! Note to self, change chains on wheels." Shouts the mad professor.
Meanwhile, Mr. Adamson is still looking for a space, and when he finds one he pulls in and stops in a very short distance. Mr. Adamson gets out looks at the front and notices he is parked just centimetres away.
"Parked to perfection." Says Mr. Adamson, as he walks towards the exit pressing the button on the remote. The car now lowers back to its normal position, and the chains retract off the wheels. At the stair well Mr. Adamson notices that there are no people around and jumps down the stairs. Mr Adamson now runs out onto the street looking for the local branch of Pizza Champion. "Ah-ha!" shouts Mr. Adamson as he spots it, he then runs towards it.
He barges through the doors
"Where's Agent M.?" He shouts.
Just then Agent M. turns around and drops a large amount of pizza bases on the floor.
"Hey, those are coming out of your wages!" shouts a fat man from behind the tills.
"Fuck you fatty Matty" Shouts Agent M.
"My name's Mickey, not Matty. Oh and that's it, your fired!" Shouts Mickey.
"Mr. Adamson, how nice to see you. After you just got me fired!" Agent M. says to Mr. Adamson.
"The games up Agent M. What have you done to the sky? And what are you planning on doing next?" asks Mr. Adamson.
"The sky? Nothing! I'm planning on getting another job now! No thanks to you" Agent M. Shouts back.
"Well how come the sky's purple?" asks Mr. Adamson.
"You what?" asks Agent M.
"Don't play dumb with me, dummy" Says Mr. Adamson.
"I want to know, what is up with the sky?" asks Agent M.
"You know, you've tampered with the code of the Matrix, or something. Now why are you doing it? Is it to lure me here?" asks Mr. Adamson.
"No! I have no idea what's going on! Besides we gave up all that Matrix malarkey ages ago." answers Agent M.
"Don't lie!" shouts Mr. Adamson.
"I swear I don't know!" Says Agent M.
"Come on, you're the only bad person around here" says Mr. Adamson.
"That's it. Now I've had enough of you and all your accusations!" Shouts Agent M. throwing down another rectangular object, causing a cloud of smoke to appear. When the smoke cleared Agent M. had gone.
"Damn it!" Says Mr. Adamson under his breath, as he leaves the establishment.
When he gets outside he notices that a large tower has been erected at the other end of the town. What is most noticeable is that the purple is darker and seemingly more concentrated around the top of the tower.
Mr. Adamson then runs to his car and gets in. He then hits the big button twice, causing the suspension to be lowered and the shape to become more aerodynamic. Mr. Adamson starts the car in reverse and performs a small wheel spin while heading backwards. Then slamming the brakes on, and turning the wheels in order to get the car pointing towards the exit.
Mr. Adamson now drives towards the exit, spinning wheels at the appropriate places. Once the car gets to the main road Mr. Adamson floors the car down the road towards the tower in the hope of finding out what is causing the purple.
